As gleaned in dribs and drabs from many Internet sources, Kerry Mills was a prolific American composer of popular music. His musical development reflected the changing fashions and trends, his compositions ranging from cakewalks, marches, songs including so-called "coon songs", ragtime and film-music. One of his biggest hits in its time was "At A Georgia Campmeeting (1897)" whilst he is probably best remembered for his "Meet Me In St Louis, Louis (1904)", "Redwing (1907)" and "Whistling Rufus (1899)".
