 Gossip Joan

"Gossip Joan" is a fine bit of English nonsense which I came across in Geoffrey Shaw's Twice 44 Sociable Songs. His version only has just four verses of a quite inoffensive items of inconsequential gossip whereas there is also an Internet version, which appears to be more inline with the at least three centuries-old original having many, many verses, some ribald, suggesting that there even may still more out there.
